If your blinkers are showing signs of hyper flash, do not worry. Here are two things that you can do to fix your hyper flashing issue.

1. You Can Use A Thermal Flasher Relay

You will come with a relay that is coordinating with the flashing speed of your turn signals. This becomes the direct root where your hyper flashing issue begins. This factory flasher relay is usually made so that it can operate with the regular bulb. 

This will be pretty tricky because the hyper flashing problem will begin from the led lights. So you have to fix this with an aftermarket thermal flasher relay, and it is designed to function with an aftermarket led replacement bulb. 

However, if your vehicle is a new model, this solution might not suit you because the new vehicles do not have a flasher relay, so there will be no coordination with the led corner lights. These new vehicles will have their electronic control unit or ECU instead to communicate with the flashers.

2. You Need To Replace Your Electronic Flasher

You must check first if your car has a replaceable electronic flasher. You can check this yourself. You can start by turning your hazard switch on. You will hear a clicking sound that will come from your dashboard. 

If there’s no clicking sound, then the odds are not in your favor. This means that your vehicle might not have a replaceable flasher unit. The second might come from a small speaker. 

This small speaker is located in the instrument cluster. Your computer controls this. You might also find it in the hazard switch.

Is Hyper Flash Illegal?

The department of transportation requires that all vehicles have their turn signals flashing at just a minimum of one hundred twenty (120) times in a minute. So if you are having an issue with hyper flashing, you can already be breaking the law. However, there are times that the manufacturers will make a headlight, and they are intended to hyper flash. 

In this case, it is legal, but it will be difficult for some drivers. So if you think your vehicle is hyper flashing, make sure that you are not blinking more than one hundred (120) times.
