4. Window Tinting
The non-reflective tint is allowed on the windshield on top of the AS-1 line given by the vehicle manufacturer. The front side window tint should allow greater than twenty-eight percent of light. The backside windows must allow more than fifteen percent light.
The reflective tints on the front and the back side windows cannot be more than twenty-five percent reflective. The side mirrors are required if the rear windows are tinted. In addition, the sticker carrying legal tint levels is required on the driver’s door jamb that the DMV provides.
